Completed training and did some work in AutoCAD, Pro-E, and Creo. I currently do not have a license, but I remember quite a bit. May only need a refresher course.
Co-op Mentoring
I have been a mentor for 13 co-ops and consider my mentorship skills a strength.
FMEA
Completed training with some on-the-job experience.
GD&T
Completed training twice with two different companies.
Leadership
Was a mentor for 13 co-ops. I also supervised one full time employee, and I was a team leader for three other full time employees.
Also, I organized weekly flag football games for company employees.
Lean Manufacturing
Completed training. I am familiar with SMED, Kanban, Kaizen, value stream, and 5S.
Manufacturing
A good amount of experience throughout my career. I have worked directly in the plant for about two years and indirectly for several other years.
Microsoft Access
While this may not be a very popular application these days, I still use it a lot, both on the job and at home.
Below is a snapshot of a scrap database I created.

Below are some pictures from my pro football database, which includes statistics and notes covering over 10,000 players since 2000.

Microsoft Excel
Can do most things in Excel, including some Visual Basic. Minimal experience with pivot tables.
Microsoft Outlook
I have used it for most of my career. There are some advanced features that I am not as experienced with.
Microsoft Powerpoint
Can do most things in Powerpoint. I have made even my own Christmas cards using Powerpoint.
Microsoft Project
I have some experience with Project but have not used it for a number of years.
Microsoft Teams
I have used Teams in the last several years for direct messages, group messages, and online meetings.
Microsoft Word
Can do most things in Word, including table of contents and text styles.
Minitab
Completed training with some on-the-job experience.

OneNote
I use One Note quite a bit both at home and on the job. In many ways, I use One Note as a replacement for pen and paper.
Patents
I was granted two patents.
Product Development
I am experienced in product development for at least half of my engineering career.
Project Management
I was a project manager for launching a new torque converter for an automatic transmission that had a volume of over 100,000 units per year. As a project manager, I had to drive the product through development and production startup and ensure the product met goals of performance, cost, and timing.
Below is a 3D model of the torque converter.

I managed several other small cost reduction projects as well, including:
- The process change of a high volume connecting rod
- Insourcing a plate assembly instead of purchasing the whole assembly. This project included process development, manufacturing investment, and finding sources for six different components.
Python
I have completed some training with Python. I am currently working with it to practice my skillset.
Below is a snapshot of a Python code I wrote for a Data Analytics class project.

R
I have a few months of experience in R. I used it for my NFL Big Data Bowl project. (See link.) I am currently working with it to practice my skillset.
SAP
17 years of experience. I do not know all transactions but enough for my work experience plus several other tricks.
Six Sigma
Have completed green belt certification twice for two different companies. The training is also useful for statistical analyses.
SQL
I am mostly familiar with the language through Microsoft Access.
Statistics
I have completed various forms of training and have used various analyses, such as hypothesis testing, linear regression, and statistical process control.
Think-Cell
I have used Think-Cell as a sub-application in Powerpoint to create gantt charts.
VA/VE
16 years of experience. I have facilitated about 100 workshops, including those in Mexico and Brazil.

Visual Basic
I am self-taught in Visual Basic and have some experience in making macros, especially for Microsoft Excel and Access.
Below is a snapshot of Visual Basic code I wrote for some colleagues at work. It didn’t directly relate to anything I was working with, but I really liked helping them.

Volunteering
Currently a volunteer for the Pro Football Hall of Fame museum, helping visitors with various needs as well as providing factoids about pro football history.
